Research process
Crypto research starts with evidence
Crypto research brings together product questions, technical evidence and the terms of a token or protocol. A useful starting point is a question another person can check: what is deployed, what can its administrators change, and which claims still depend on future work? AlfaDAO brings research discussions and tools into a member platform. These public guides explain a process anyone can use.

Establish exactly what you are researching
Start with the project's official documentation, the network it uses and its published contract addresses. Save the source of each address. A familiar ticker, logo or screenshot leaves important identity questions unresolved. Distinguish a working product from a demonstration, and a live deployment from a roadmap item.
Give the research a clear scope. Investigating a lending market, evaluating a project's documentation and reconciling a token schedule are different jobs. Write the question before collecting dashboards so that each source has a purpose.
Keep observations and interpretations separate
A transaction, a documentation page and a community explanation answer different questions. Record what each source actually shows, when it was checked and the assumptions needed to draw a conclusion. Preserve disagreements between sources as open questions. Repeating a claim across several social accounts does not create independent evidence.
- Observed: a dated document, contract setting or reproducible transaction.
- Inferred: an explanation that fits the evidence but needs assumptions.
- Unresolved: a missing address, unclear permission or inconsistent figure.
How AlfaDAO supports the workflow
The platform combines a configurable dashboard, community updates, project information, discussion forums and a calendar. Members can follow deal information and vesting schedules alongside portfolio and market tools.
Member discussions, account features and restricted deal materials have separate access controls. These public pages use educational examples, not private member records or demonstration projects presented as real community results.
Leave a research trail someone can revisit
Finish with a short record of the question, sources, observation time, findings and remaining uncertainties. Add the event that should trigger another check, such as a deployment change or a revised release schedule. The result is a reviewable research note that can be corrected as evidence changes. It does not establish a project's suitability for any person's finances.
Common questions
- Is AlfaDAO's member research publicly available here?
- These pages contain newly written educational material. Member discussions and restricted project materials require the appropriate account access.
