How to Manage Cookies
Through our cookie banner
When you first visit alfadao.xyz, you will see a cookie consent banner. You can accept all cookies or reject non-essential cookies. Until you choose, non-essential cookies and analytics stay off. You can change your preferences at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the page footer, by clearing your browser's local storage, or by adjusting your browser settings.
Through your browser
Most web browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can typically view, delete, and block cookies from specific websites or all websites. Please note that blocking strictly necessary cookies may prevent the website from functioning properly.
- Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies
- Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
- Safari: Preferences → Privacy
- Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions
Local Storage and Session Storage
In addition to cookies, we use browser local storage and session storage to store technical data necessary for the operation of the Platform (such as wallet connection state and UI preferences). These function similarly to cookies but are managed differently by your browser. You can clear local storage through your browser's developer tools or Settings.
GDPR Compliance
For EU/EEA users, we operate in compliance with the ePrivacy Directive (2002/58/EC as amended) and the GDPR:
- Informed consent is obtained before any non-essential cookies are set. Strictly necessary cookies may be set without consent.
- All non-essential cookies are OFF by default. You must actively opt in to enable them.
- You may withdraw consent at any time as easily as you provided it.
- Your consent preferences are stored locally (not on our servers) and respected on each visit.
